Privacy policy
Last updated 9 October 2026
We collect only what is needed to run deliveries and payments. This page says what that is, why we need it and who can see it.
What we collect
Your name and mobile number to create your account and send sign-in codes. For customers: the delivery address and map pin you give, delivery notes, your orders, wallet entries and any problems you report. For dairy owners and staff: the dairy's name, city and address, products, routes and team. For delivery people: delivery times and, where a photo is added to prove a delivery, that photo.
If you join a waitlist on our website (for example Yore Farms), we keep the name, number, city and note you send.
Who can see it
Each dairy's data is kept separate. Other dairies cannot see your customers, orders or reports. A customer's details are visible to the dairy they order from and to that dairy's staff who need them: packers see what to pack but not addresses or money; delivery people see the stops they must deliver. A small number of Farmdwar staff can see data when needed to run the service or help with a problem.
Why we use it
To run the service: sign you in, show the right screens, build packing lists and routes, take and record payments, send you notices about your orders, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your information.
Payments
Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Farmdwar does not store card numbers. For UPI payments we keep the reference you give so the dairy can match the payment.
Location
The map pin you set is used to place you on a delivery route. A dairy can see whether your pin is inside its delivery areas; customers never see the dairy's zones.
How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as your account is active and as the law requires for accounts and payments. A dairy can ask us to remove its data when it closes, subject to what must be kept.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct your details or close your account. Write to us from the Contact page. Dairy customers can also ask their dairy to deactivate their account.
Security
Connections are encrypted, sign-in uses one-time codes, and uploaded photos are cleaned of hidden location data. No system is perfect: tell us at once if you think your account is at risk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
